Description
Mende mask, Sierra Leone Conical in shape. The headdress is adorned with four curved horns in relief, separated by hatched incisions; on either side of the headdress are two beautiful and imposing flower-shaped rosettes in high relief; a small, heart-shaped face, with scarification on the forehead and cheeks, a small, compact mouth, the whole set off by linear incisions.
