°°Neolithic Saharan pestle, circa 6000 BC. An exceptional pestle, oblong in shape, rounded at both ends and widening towards the base. It is ochre, pinkish and amber in colour. The upper part of this pestle is veined, with concentric strata highlighted by darker lines. In the lower part, the lines become more free-flowing. The work of nature and its elements lends this object a timeless and universal quality. H. 29 cm Metal base
