A large heavy hardwood maternity figure with a dark patina and polychrome highlights depicting a woman sitting on a stool with her child on her lap. Long ringed neck supporting a face with interiorised features. Numerous pearl necklaces. The base is badly missing and worn. Encrustations due to libations.
