Description
[WATERS AND FORESTS]. ORDINANCE OF LOUIS XIV, King of France and Navarre, concerning waters and forests, issued at Saint-Germain-en-Laye in the month of August 1669. With the regulations issued to date in interpretation thereof. A new edition, more accurate than previous ones. PARIS, BY THE COMPANY OF ASSOCIATED BOOKSELLERS, 1764. One volume, in-12 (17 x 10 cm), comprising (4) folios, 603 pages, in a full contemporary binding in marbled calfskin. Spine with five highly decorated and gilt raised bands, bearing the gilt title on a panel of old red morocco. Slight wear to the corners. A new edition of this famous Ordinance on waters and forests, and in particular on hunting. It remained in force until the Revolution.
