SEYTRE DE LA CHARBOUZE A JOURNEY TO MONT PILAT, or a visit to my homeland. SAINT-ÉTIENNE, THÉOLIER AINÉ, 1861. One volume, in-8 (21 x 14 cm), 100 pp., contemporary half-calf binding in brown, covers lined with burgundy percaline. Spine with four raised bands bearing the title in gold lettering, repeated in gold on the front cover, marbled edges. A Chapter XI has been added, handwritten over 5 pages (in the author’s own hand); it will form part of the second edition of 1874. An author’s copy bearing his name in gold lettering at the top of the front cover, with a handwritten dedication on the first endpaper. First edition.
