BULAND Eugène (1852-1926) "Oil on canvas 87 x 74 cm (98 x 88 cm) signed and dated "81" lower centre. A French painter, a pupil of Cabanel and winner of the Prix de Rome, he is considered a precursor of hyperrealism for the rigour and meticulousness of his pictorial technique.
