A thick wool rug, hand-woven and hand-knotted in Tibet, featuring a tiger skin design.
In good condition. 165 x 81 cm.
The protective tiger skin, like that of a guardian, watches over the meditating figure; at the top and bottom, the Lishui (primordial waters) from which the three sacred peaks emerge.
