In 12 format, paperback with uncut pages, in very good condition. Luc Durtain (1881–1959), whose real name was André Robert Gustave Nepveu, was a French doctor who became a poet, novelist, playwright and essayist, best known during the interwar period. In 1950, he was awarded the Gustave Le Métais-Larivière Prize by the Académie française for his entire body of work.
