Estrazulas, Enrique – The Fires of Paradise - A long handwritten dedication in Spanish, signed by the author on the half-title page and dated 1980 to mark his visit to France for the launch of the first French edition, on a press copy (S.P.) of the first French edition. NRF, Gallimard, 1980, first printing. In 8 format, paperback, comprising 183 pages plus table of contents, in good condition. Enrique Estrázulas (1942–2016) was a Uruguayan writer, poet, essayist, journalist and diplomat. He did not enjoy the same success in France as he did in his native country. A very rare signed copy.
