In 12 grand format with uncut margins, 312 pages, bound in half gragin with green corners and a sun-stamped ribbed spine, covers and spine preserved, gilt top edge; a fine bibliophile’s copy. Émile Henriot (1889–1961), the pseudonym of Paul Maigrot, was a French poet, writer, essayist and literary critic. He was elected to the Académie Française in 1945, with no other candidates standing against him, such was the certainty of his election due to his popularity.
