Description
Nadaud, Gustave – Tales and Stories in Verse – Autograph dedication signed by the author on the half-title page. Illustrated with 6 etchings from a limited edition. Librairie des Bibliophiles, 1877, printed by Jouaust. In 12° paperback format, comprising 283 pages with some flaws (broken spine, etc.), but in very fair condition. Gustave Nadaud (1820–1893) was a singer-songwriter, chansonnier, goguettier, poet, composer and writer. He was awarded the Prix Lambert (1872) and the Prix Vitet (1882) by the Académie française. He enjoyed immense success as a chansonnier.
