Scize, Pierre – Vingt Dieux de République – A signed dedication by the author on folio I/X (No. VIII) on Johannot pure-fibre paper, from a total print run of 210 copies. Published by Éditions Lugdunum, 1945, Lyon. In 12 format comprising 186 pages plus table of contents, in a period binding in full red sheepskin with overlapping flaps, ribbed spine, blue leather interior of the covers, front cover featuring gilded Phrygian caps, dust jacket retained. A fine copy in perfect condition. Pierre Scize (1894–1956) was a journalist, film critic, court reporter and theatre critic.
