Marie d’AGOULT (1805–1876). 2 letters, 1866; one and a half pages and two pages, in-8. [26 or 27 January 1866, to Désiré NISARD]. ‘Not everyone is cut out to be such a pedant’, and she thanks Nisard for pointing out a correction; she is expecting him one Monday evening: ‘M. de Girardin calls them my “Monday talks”’... Saint-Lupicin, 21 September 1866, [to Elme CARO]. She expresses her thanks for an article on her Dante and Goethe, despite ‘differences of opinion’; but ‘only those who do not think are in agreement these days’... General Correspondence, vol.
