Édouard MORTIER, Duke of Trévise (1768–1835), Marshal. L.S., Paris, 20 December 1832, to Mr OUDARD, Secretary to the Queen’s Commandments, Queen Marie-Amélie; one and a half pages, quarto, on letterhead of the Grand Chancellery of the Royal Order of the Legion of Honour.
Claim for payment of the sum of 27.80 francs, outstanding in respect of the September pension of Mademoiselle Adèle Jolly, ‘admitted to the St Denis boarding school as a boarder on 21 September 1832. Her Majesty the Queen of the French has kindly undertaken to pay the board’. The costs of the trousseau (400 francs) and the fourth quarter of 1832 (250 francs) have already been settled.
