Regarding his exhibition (at the Galerie des Artistes modernes), which is under consideration for extension: ‘it might perhaps be worth announcing it in *Le Figaro*’, but, says Mr de Serret, there are difficulties ‘and I have come to see nothing but drawbacks, the main one being that this announcement might well be misinterpreted’; he prefers not to proceed… – He writes to Mr Girard asking him “to take down the large frame and bring it back to the studio” and asks Simonson to keep the loaned paintings, “since at some collectors’ homes they cannot be put up in a single day”…
