Description
Spirou: Indian ink illustration with white gouache highlights for the announcement of the following week's programme entitled "Every Spirou is a party!" published in Spirou no. 1801 on 19 October 1972. It's a beautiful composition, enhanced by very fine graphics, featuring a tuba player kicking out a little violin player, all under the gaze of an exclamation mark and a question mark. From issue 1742 in 1971, André Franquin often used these punctuation marks in the editorial content of the newspaper. The coloured pencil tracing paper is included (sticky paper and traces of sticky paper around the edges). Size of drawing (with insert): 22.2 x 13.4. Size of paper: 25.2 x 18.
