Description
Blain: King Kong, charcoal and white gouache illustration for this one-shot published by Albin Michel in 2004. The author of Isaac the Pirate delivers a dense composition of the streets of Manhattan in which we find the film-maker Carl Denham intervening in a dispute between a merchant and Ann who had just stolen an apple from him. For the 2019 reissue, the artist decided to change Ann's face to make it more recognisable. Signed (Rustine/cut on Ann's head). Dimensions: 23.6 x 23.6 cm.
