Description
Goscinny: Dick Dicks, plate no. 8 (numbered 141) in Indian ink from the episode "Dick Dicks contre le professeur Floupf" published in Het Belang van Limburg on 12 August 1954 and in De Gentenaar on 17 August 1954. It was in New York, encouraged and advised by Jijé and Morris, that Goscinny created his own comic strip "Dick Dicks". On his return to Europe, he published his series in the daily newspaper La Wallonie alongside the Belloy series by his friend Uderzo. These two series were also published in the Flemish daily press. The New York detective is depicted in around ten panels, with the humorous presence of the mouse in the third strip (traces of sticky paper and vertical folds). Dimensions: 50 x 62.2 cm.
