Description
Jijé - Giraud : Jerry Spring, plate #34 in Indian ink from the episode "La Route de Coronado" published in the issue of the journal Spirou #1208 on June 8, 1961. Superb composition with black solid colours in which Jerry Spring and Pancho take a break from their investigation into the famous "message". In the middle of the night, they meet Jeroboam Lee Moorhouse and his daughter Judith, whom they will take to the Coronado Valley the next day. Plate inked by Jean Giraud on Jijé's pencils during his apprenticeship with the Master. Signed Jijé and co-signed by Gir in 1995 (horizontal fold on both sides at the bottom of the 2nd strip, staple holes around the edge and traces of sticky paper). Dimensions: 31.7 x 43.2 cm.
