Set of documents relating to a family party which took place in the spring of 1966 and was organised by Louis Casterman for his grandchildren, including : - Indian ink on paper for an illustration depicting Tintin and Snowy and intended for the cover of this menu. 25.4 x 19.6 cm. - Indian ink on paper for the interior illustrations depicting Captain Haddock, Professor Tournesol, Nestor, Bianca Castafiore and Igor Wagner, and the Dupondts. With black film. 29.8 x 22.4 cm. - Study drawing in blue biros, handwritten annotations. 27.4 x 21.4 cm. - Colour test for the background. 9.9 x 17.9 cm. - final printed version. 29.8 x 21.3 cm. At the time, Hergé was working on Flight 714 to Sidney, which was published in Tintin in September 1966 to mark the magazine's twentieth anniversary.
