HERGE (Georges REMI) (1907–1983). The Adventures of Tintin. ‘The Blue Lotus – Vol. 5’. Hardback with yellow cloth spine. 1952 reprint with B6 front cover. Dark blue endpapers. Published by Casterman. VERY GOOD CONDITION. Spine intact with a tear at the top and bottom corners, which are worn. Front cover in bright colours with a small tear and scuffing around the edges, plus worn, rounded corners with splits. Back cover with a felt-tip pen mark and small scratches, plus worn corners with splits. The endpapers are torn at the hinge but remain attached. The text block has a few stains and signs of reading and handling. Included are 4 photocopied pages of ‘Chinese Lessons for Readers’. Photos available on request.
