Thierry Disson (born in 1959) Untitled Watercolour under glass 30 x 40 cm I first took up watercolour painting whilst studying landscape design at horticultural college. I practised on and off throughout my professional career, and it is only now that I have retired that my work as a watercolourist has really taken off. I love architectural drawings interwoven with landscape scenes. But above all, I love capturing light and bringing it to life. It is, in fact, the shadow that makes the light shine.
