A porcelain covered bowl decorated with calligraphy, children and roosters, China, 19th century The polychrome enamelled bowl in the famille rose style is decorated with hoho, rooster, hen and chicks among rocks and peony flowers. The calligraphy is enamelled in black. Qianlong's apocryphal four-character sigillary mark in blue underglaze on the lid and base. H. 8 cm - D. 11.5 cm (small crack to the bowl and wear)
