Description
A pair of phoenix vases in cloisonné enamel on copper, China, 20th century Each phoenix in archaic style is depicted standing on its legs, its tail pointing downwards to form a third foot. The background is enamelled in turquoise blue and decorated in polychrome enamels with foliage. It carries a removable vase on its back. H. 26 cm (small chips and missing parts, impact to one of the vases, deformation to one of the legs of one of the phoenixes)
