Description
MAURICE JALLOT (1900-1971) Lacquered wood lounge unit forming a bar. The black lacquered quadrangular body opens to reveal four ivory lacquered doors, each with a central eglomised mirror motif on the theme of Bacchus. The interior is fitted with clear glass shelves with a mirror base; the upper part is fitted with a clear glass service flap framed by a brass angle iron. The base, with four short Gaine-type feet and brass sabotage, is highlighted on the top with gilded wood. Made in the mid-1940s.
