Description
JEAN DESPRÉS (1889-1980)
Rare pair of three-light candelabra in silver-plated metal with a largely hammered surface.
The cylindrical shafts, adorned with a thick curb chain with applied flat links, each rest on a hammered circular base.
The scrolled arms are fitted with hammered semi-spherical bobeches, each resting on a discreet rotating curb chain.
Each candelabra is signed J. DESPRÉS under the base and bears the Master Goldsmith's hallmark twice around the base.
