Description
Sentimental brooch in yellow gold 750 ‰ of oval shape and set in the centre with a porcelain plate painted with a miniature in the taste of the 18th century, representing an elderly character predicting the future love of a young woman. The frame is decorated with geometric friezes and twists in relief, underlined by a blue enamel fillet. It is surmounted by doves of love, in greyish enamel and finished with a ribbon knot holding a pearl, probably fine. The glass back is removable to hold a souvenir (a lock of hair).
