Chest of drawers in mahogany and speckled mahogany veneer, opening with five drawers in three rows, the first in three parts, rounded, fluted front jambs topped with fretworked brass plates, resting on tapered legs ending in sabots. The drawers are framed by a baguette and decorated with a trefoil keyhole and gilt bronze ring pull handles. Chased bronze ornamentation, cloverleaf and fillet escutcheons. Grey veined marble top. Stamped on the right rear jamb J. STOCKEL. Louis XVI period H. 90 cm - W. 129 cm - D. 60 cm (one frame moulding missing, slight scratches on the marble) Joseph Stöckel, received his master's diploma on 02 August 1775. He was the master of Guillaume Beneman.
