The title, Suhour, refers to the last meal before dawn during Ramadan. Laurette Succar (born in Beirut in 1970) is a painter and poet whose work explores the themes of memory and transmission. Her artist’s books, veritable paper sculptures, feature in prestigious collections, notably at the Bibliothèque nationale de France. She was awarded the Josette Moreau Després Prize in 2015.
