[18TH-CENTURY CUT-OUT]. A delicate rectangular cut-out on vellum, finely cut and enhanced with colour in the 18th century. 18th century. 143 x 112 mm, frame: 240 x 180 mm. A few tiny fragments of the border are missing; two lower corners are discoloured. Remarkable cut-work imitating lace, featuring leaves and flowers, with a medallion in the centre set against a watercolour landscape background, depicting a monstrance surmounted by a crown supported by four angel heads. Canivet mounted on blue paper and presented in a modern glass frame.
