Publisher’s Bradel-style binding in brick-red percaline, the front cover adorned with a beautiful personalised design using special dies and a lovely plaque, all stamped in gold and black. Smooth spine decorated with floral panels, back cover stamped in black. All edges gilt. 396 pages, 12 chromolithographic plates. Minor flaws to the percaline. New edition (based on the original of 1858), illustrated with 12 beautiful chromolithographic plates.
