[19th-century MANUSCRIPT]. [Anonymous]. Treatise on the wash-line drawing of plans. 1813. A beautiful calligraphic manuscript, illustrated with several wash-line drawings. S.l. 1813. Square in-12 volume (130 x 92 mm), green morocco, gilt lace edging on the covers with fleurons at the corners, plain, unmarked spine. 33 unnumbered pages, 11 plates. Leather slightly faded, normal wear and tear. Manuscript written in black ink, signed on the title page with an unidentified monogram. Educational manuscript devoted to the technique of wash drawing applied to plans. The text ends with ‘End of the first part’. Illustrated with original drawings of very high quality, including two colour maps (Geographical Details, Portugal), a colour chart, a topographical plan, architectural views (castles, churches), landscapes and details. The work was enhanced at the time with several drawings, some of which are dated 1815, 1821 and 1825. Three are signed “Gallois 1821”. Very good condition, a fresh and clean volume.
