Limited edition of 117 numbered copies; this is no. 8, printed for Pierre Baudin (1863–1917), a French journalist and politician, and member of the Société des Gens de Lettres.
A very complete copy, including the table of illustrations featuring two etchings, which are sometimes missing.
From the library of Francis Kettaneh, bearing his bookplate; monogram R.L.B. on the flyleaf.
A lovely Art Nouveau creation from the very early 20th century, perfectly executed by Petrus Ruban (1851–1929), one of the greatest bookbinders of his time.
