A very fine copy in a double-bound edition by Adrien Lavaux, enriched with 6 original drawings by Jean Frélaut (including 3 in colour), an illustrated dinner menu featuring a drypoint by the artist in three states, and a set of 74 black drypoints, all signed and numbered by the artist.

In-4 (220x280 mm), chocolate morocco, geometric decoration consisting of a double blind-stamped band running across the entire binding, 12 panels of caramel morocco adorned with a blind-stamped numeral in the centre of the covers, spine with two broad faux-ribs, decorated with the title and the author’s name embossed lengthwise on a rectangle of the same morocco, linings of the same morocco decorated with a geometric cold-embossed design featuring the same number at the corners, signature “Ad. Lavaux" cold-stamped in the leather, endpapers of textured paper with gilt decoration, gilt head on endpapers, covers and spine preserved, edged slipcase (Ad. Lavaux).

Limited edition of 104 numbered copies on Arches vellum; this is no. 23, printed for Ernest Gouïn.
It is enhanced by 6 original drawings by Jean Frélaut, 5 of which are signed, all mounted on passe-partout: 3 are in colour (one measuring 170x170 mm and 2 measuring approximately 135x180 mm) and 3 in black (approximately 100x140 mm each).
