COMBAS (Robert). Combas 84. Catalogue of Robert Combas’s first major exhibition, featuring a beautiful signed autograph, accompanied by an original drawing by the artist. Marseille, ARCA, 1984. Quarto (220x240 mm), publisher’s hardback, with a colour illustrated dust jacket. 95 pages, numerous black-and-white and colour reproductions, some full-page or double-page, a few handwritten facsimiles. Bilingual text in French and English. Dust jacket slightly worn with a small tear at the edge. A superb monograph on the work of Robert Combas, featuring colour reproductions of all the paintings exhibited at the eponymous exhibition organised by ARCA from 6 November to 31 December 1984, his first major solo exhibition. Limited edition of 2,000 copies on 170 gsm matt art paper; this is copy no. 213. A valuable copy enhanced by a beautiful autograph dedication signed by the artist on the flyleaf: "For Éliane le Comte, her sister and her mother-in-law", accompanied by an original felt-tip pen drawing.
