Paris, Christophe Ballard, 1698–1712. 5 pieces in one oblong quarto volume, marbled calfskin, decorated spine, roulette on the edges, mottled edges (contemporary binding). 1. Prologue to the ballet *Les Amours de Vénus* and the comedy *Le Triomphe de la folie*. Ballard, 1712. First edition. RISM A/I C 705. 2. *Vénus, feste galante*. Performed before His Lordship on 27 January 1698 at the residence of the Duchess of La Ferté. Ballard, 1698. First edition. RISM A/I C 751. 3. *La Sérénade vénitienne*… Performed by the Royal Academy of Music in January 1703. Ballard, 1703. First edition of this entry added to the *Fragments* by Monsieur de Lully. RISM A/I C 744. 4. *New Arias*, composed by Messrs Campra and Batistin; sung by Mlles Poussin and Dun during the performances of *Thétis et Pelée* in the year 1708. Ballard, 1712. New edition of these arias added by Campra and Stuck to Collasse’s opera *Thétis et Pelée* (1689). RISM A/I C 749. 5.
