Set of 6 works in 15 small 12mo volumes, red morocco, extensive scrollwork, pomegranates and small gilt ironwork, smooth spine decorated with grotesque motifs, interior lace, blue silk endpapers and linings, gilt edges (contemporary binding). A significant collection of six works published in Italian in Paris by Marcel Prault as part of his collection of classical Italian poets and prose writers. Each volume features a frontispiece by Moreau the Younger, repeated in every volume, and a portrait of the author engraved by Littret (4), Gaucher (1) or Demautort (1), to which are added a frontispiece by Cochin in *Orlando Furioso* and in *La Jérusalem délivrée*, as well as a map of Hell in *The Divine Comedy*. An exceptional, uniform collection in red morocco leather with rocaille lace, in the style of Lemonnier. Very rare in such fine condition. A few foxing spots.
