Quarto, fawn calfskin on wooden boards, richly decorated with compartments of gilt fillets, scrolls and fleurons, gilt spine, interior lace, Augsburg paper endpapers, gilt edges, wrought metal clasps (contemporary Germanic binding). New edition, featuring a frontispiece and an engraved title page by Schürz. A fine example of German Baroque bookbinding. One joint split with a slight loss at three rib fastenings; foxing and insect damage.
