PAIR OF CANDELABRES in chiselled bronze, patinated and gilded, decorated with Cupids in the round, each holding in one hand a quiver containing sheaves of wheat, bound together by a wreath of flowers, which support four candle arms featuring a motif of palmettes, foliage scrolls and pine cones. The Cupids hold a bow in one hand (the first) and a quiver in the other (the second), and stand on a tall plinth with a square base, decorated with palmettes and small flowers, fluting and godrons, culminating in a sphere at the top.
