Earthenware plate with a curved rim, featuring a pre-Revolutionary polychrome ‘flag’ design: in the centre of a crowned escutcheon, a fleur-de-lis, flanked by flags at half-mast, fifes, a drum and cannonballs. This decoration is an evolution of the pre-Revolutionary design known as "aux drapeaux".
