An important silver tea service consisting of a teapot, a hot water jug and a sugar bowl decorated with ribs and bindweed foliage, hinged and removable lid for the sugar bowl, lids decorated with a rosehip flower on a terrace of leaves, rope-shaped handle, figured and engraved on the pedestal "10 March 1860", inside of the jug and sugar bowl in vermeil. Anglo-Indian work, signed Hamilton & CO Jewellers Calcutta, Swan hallmark 800°/°°. Weight: 3,065 g. Very slight dents, two knocks to the teapot and slight knocks to the teapot and sugar bowl and wear to the vermeil. 3 pieces.
