Letter patent of ennoblement, conferring the rank of Noble, dated 18 August 1816 (19th century), granted and signed by Emperor Francis I of Austria, to Hermengild Von Peche, Chief Controller of the Exchequer of the Estates of the Hereditary Kingdom of Bohemia. He is also the step-grandfather of Madame Marie Gräfin Ségur-Cabanac.
A crimson velvet binding containing a 12-page booklet on paper and vellum. It features a high-quality gouache of the family coat of arms, with fresh colours and in excellent condition, depicting the family’s arms.
Signed by Emperor Francis I of Austria.
With its gold-threaded cords and seal holder.
The accompanying wax seal is missing.
