Silver chalice with a footed stem and body featuring moulded and scalloped detailing; the interior is vermeilled; richly chiselled relief decoration on an ‘amati’ ground depicting vines, acanthus leaves, scrollwork, cross-hatching and instruments of the Passion on the knob and the foot. Black leather case lined with burgundy leather, marked ‘M. Deniau and Chapelle 1st floor’ on two labels (lid missing).
