Jewel with transformation : 750 thousandth yellow gold necklace able to form two bracelets, formed of eight leafy scroll motifs set with oval shell cameos each adorned with different scenes with the figure of Venus. It is accompanied by love on four of them, Bacchus holding a ewer, a dog symbolising fidelity, a swan and a female figure draped in antique style, Italian work circa 1840, two ratchet clasps. Gross weight 41.2 g. Length 43.5 cm. Sold in an octagonal red morocco case with gilt decoration of scrolls and palmettes. Damage to the case, traces of oxidation.
