Green spun glass lucky charm ring adorned with a four-leaf clover.
This glass ring is also known as a "bago d'aï" in Provence. It was given as an engagement ring to symbolise the fragility of a budding love and the promise of a future union.
This jewellery has been handcrafted since the 17th century, and was also used as a temporary love ring during the Beaucaire Fair: the men's ring featured a cat on the lookout, while the women's ring featured a little mouse with flushed ears.
