LEPAGE-MOUTIER, Paris. A case for a pair of duelling pistols, made of walnut and walnut veneer, adorned on the lid with a cut-out brass handle. The interior is divided into compartments lined with vermilion leather, with compartments featuring lids made of blackened wood. It contains a fine pair of duelling pistols with fluted barrels in Damascus steel, signed on the top. The breech stocks, front hammers, hammers, finger rests and fittings are engraved with foliage motifs, scrolls and small flowers. Walnut stocks. Checkered grips. Cleaning rods. Round bullet mould.
