Description
Emile GALLE (1846–1904). Cylindrical vase with a beaded, recessed neck, made of milky glass that is partly opalescent to pale green, engraved in camee style using acid etching and a wheel, with a design of lilies, buds and foliage in shades of red to brown. Fire-polished and re-finished. On the reverse, signed ‘Cristallerie Gallé’ and bearing the inscription ‘Modèle et décor déposés’. Circa 1895. Height: 20 cm.
