Edgar BRANDT (1880–1960) & DAUM Nancy.
A chandelier with a 5-arm frame, the arms terminating in coiled volutes of hammered wrought iron with openwork decoration of foliage, scrolls and arched openings in the centre, supporting, at the centre, a circular bowl with a domed body in speckled orange-yellow marmoré glass. Five-strand suspension. Signed with the intaglio stamp ‘E. Brandt’ and the Daum bowl bears the Lorraine Cross and ‘Nancy’. Circa 1920/25. Total height: 90, Length: 70, Bowl diameter: 60 cm.
