Description
BURGUN, SCHVERER and Co (Lorraine Art Glassworks) / Meisenthal. Liqueur carafe with a rounded body in ribbed glass, decorated with enamelled small white daisies and leaves. Handle applied whilst hot. Marked ‘bouchon’ (?). Marked in gold ‘E. Cusenier Fils aîné et Cie Paris’ on the underside of the base. Circa 1895. Height: 17.8 cm. A similar model is reproduced in *Meisenthal: Cradle of Art Nouveau Glass*. Exhibition catalogue by François Le Tacon, Paul Franckhauser and Yvon Fleck, p. 70.
