CHARDER (Charles SCHNEIDER 1881–1953) for LE VERRE FRANCAIS. Hollyhocks (design created circa 1927–1928). Vase with a baluster-shaped body and a slightly indented neck on a circular, beaded base. Made of glossy purple powdered glass on a whitish-purple marbled background, decorated with stylised hollyhocks etched in reserve using acid. Signed with both names. H: 40.5 cm.
